O Canada: Must See A Commercial Photographer

I completed a curious assignment yesterday, a visa photo to very exacting dimensions for a gentleman seeking Canadian permanent residency. While our own United States Department of State has lowered the standards for passport images, making it possible for someone with a point & shoot camera to make such photographs, Canada’s instructions specified the applicant must see a COMMERCIAL photographer.
