I had that happen to me today, the company was offering me exposure. I asked for compensation and the owner sent me a very insulting email in which he was telling me that I was trying to take advantage of him. I think the main problem is that cheaper dslr photography gets more amateurs going out there pretending to know the principles of photography and offering their services for free. This gives companies the false impression that the photography should be given to them for free in exchange for exposure. The big question is… How will exposure pay my bills? I asked him if he will give me his product for free. Of course he didn’t respond!

Love the article! I had no idea that articles were posted about my son, Mike Salas. Do you have any more that have been posted previously? How can I obtain them for his memory book?
