Judi Penman and her staff at San Bernardino Area Chamber of Commerce put on another great Rendezvous Back to Route 66 event, with static displays of classic cars, food, music and cruising. After a few years of paid admission to see far fewer cars in a nearby parking lot, it’s great to see the event continues for the third year on the streets of downtown, celebrating the history of Route 66, which passes through a portion of westside San Bernardino, as well as Southern California’s love affair with the automobile and cruising culture.
