Waiting For The Light As Storm Clears

After what seemed like a month of rain, the storms abated earlier this week to provide this spectacular view of the San Gabriel Mountains seen from Norco.  At these times the atmosphere here in Southern California, frequently thick with smog, is at its absolute crystal-clearest. It seems we can see forever.  Add light from a low angle at the end of the day to set up the reflection of the Norconian Club on the lake’s surface and give some texture to diminishing clouds and snow on the distant mountains.  Dare I say perfect?
